Train: Berkhamsted station is on the London Midland line from Birmingham to Euston. The station is adjacent to the castle site. More information
Road: Take the A4251 into Berkhamsted, then follow signs to the station (from the traffic lights in the centre of town, take the Lower Kings Road, over the canal bridge and the station can be found on the left. Drive left under the railway bridge just after the station and the castle is on the right).
Bus: Arriva operates frequent services between Watford and Aylesbury (No 500) or between Hemel and Northchurch (No 32), stopping in the High Street. More information

Access for disabled is reasonable, though there are some steep slopes on site.
Parking: Some spaces adjacent to the site, or town car parks are within walking distance
